Established in 1913, now the longest established shop in Beckenham high street, purchased in 1999 by the current owners Chris and Liz Penfold. Chris has been involved with Deens for 40 years starting in the shop as a Saturday boy for the previous owners the O'Regans. He loved taking bikes apart, learning how things worked and correcting it to improve performance.

Deens Garage was started by the Dineen family, hence the name, selling and servicing motor cycles, wireless (radio) repairs and limousine hire, over the years as demand changed, bicycle sales and service became its main focus.

Deens is still a family business and still believe in good traditional values of good products and service. All of our staff are keen cyclists, mainly road cycling now days but still enjoy some off road fun and cycling with the family.

Our showroom isn't particularly large but we fill it with a wide range of bikes and accessories, if you don't see what you are looking for please ask as we have a large storeroom full of stock. We cater for all types of cycling from your child's first bike, a bike for commuting or that high-end road bike you've always wanted. We will discuss your requirements and guide you through so you can get the correct bike and right size for your budget, there is no pressure or hard sell, we are here to help. We offer a part exchange service, finance is also available along with the many of Cycle to work schemes. Once you've made a decision your bike will be set up to you and if any accessories purchased they will be fitted. We offer a complementary first service free of charge within 12 months of ownership.

If your looking for a knowledgeable friendly place to buy or service your bike then Deens is the place to go, whatever your experience or level of cycling, there's no such thing as a silly question. All repairs are carried out in our own on-site workshop by experienced cycle mechanics, all qualified to CYTEC Level 2. As the saying goes - no job is too big or too small.
